Why you came

Seventy feet of frontage on the Little Red River. A candlelit stone fireplace for ambiance and a master bedroom that gets dark enough for the parents to actually sleep in.

Three bedrooms. A bunk room the kids will fight over. A sun room that opens onto the river. A backyard flat enough for a frisbee, rare on this river. Walk to the dam, walk to Winkley Shoals, walk to dinner.

This is the one with the trout, the table set for ten, and the photos that make people text you back the next morning.

For Anglers

The Little Red is one of the most storied trout tailwaters in the country. The world-record brown trout, 40 lb 4 oz, came out of Barnett Access on Rip Collins's line in 1992. Barnett is at the end of our street. Our home puts you steps from that water, with a private dock, 407 Mbps fiber wifi for tying room streaming, and a covered garage across the road for gear and skiff storage.

We loved our time here! When we vacation, it's rare that a place is both beautifully decorated and also extremely kid friendly. Everything we needed for our kids was there on hand. The gate around the dock also offered so much peace of mind. We will be back again on our annual trip!

Beautiful waterfront property on the Little Red River, just upstream from Swinging Bridge/Winkley Shoals. The house was tastefully renovated and stocked with everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The host was super responsive and accommodating. A+ stay, we'll definitely be back.

The home is beautiful. You feel right at home as soon as you enter. The enclosed patio had a great view of the river. We enjoyed fishing from the nice fishing pier. Yes, we did catch several trout. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to the Little Red.
