You’re talking to a small Arkansas family who runs Lake Area Stays — not a call center, not a chatbot. We answer the phone, we read every email, and we’d rather hear from you than have something go sideways during your stay.

Questions before booking
Trying to choose between properties, asking about availability, traveling with a group, bringing a boat, or wondering about anything else? Same numbers above. We typically reply within a few hours during business hours, and same-day on weekends.
Existing booking changes
To modify dates, change party size, or ask about cancellation, please email [email protected] with your booking number. We’ll work with you on what’s possible per the cancellation policy in your rental agreement.
Billing and payment questions
Charges from us show on your card statement as “LAKE AREA STAYS” (or the descriptor on file with our payment processor, Stripe). If you see a charge from us that you don’t recognize, please call us before disputing it with your bank — we’ll get it sorted in minutes.

Hours
We answer messages 7 days a week, generally between 8 AM and 9 PM Central. Outside those hours we still respond to anything urgent — we just may take a little longer to reply to general inquiries.
